Pastor:  Mark Skorheim
Mark Skorheim graduated from California State University in Long Beach with a degree in Sociology. Mark completed his Masters Degree at Talbot Theological Seminary in La Mirada, California, where he holds a Master of Divinity Degree. Following graduation from Talbot, Mark and his wife Donna, moved to Texas. Mark has been in Christian ministry for more than 25 years. Mark has served as a staff member of Don Anderson Ministries, a para church organization based in Tyler, Texas. Mark has also ministered as a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Pastor of two churches in East Texas. Mark is the charter Pastor of Faith Community Church.

Pastor Wife:  Donna Skorheim

Donna spent most of her childhood growing up at a Christian camp here in Tyler. Donna’s father was the first Executive Director of Pine Cove Christian Camp and Conference Center. Donna graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler in 1972, She then graduated from Biola University in 1976 with a Bachelor Degree in Christian Education. She graduated from Talbot Theological Seminary in December 1978, with a Masters Degree in Christian Education. She and Mark were married in August of 1979. Since 2002 she has ministered as a Chaplain with Marketplace Chaplains USA. At Faith she teaches a weekly Women’s Bible study class and serves with the children and youth ministries of the church.
